Defoaming masterbatch (also known as moisture-removing masterbatch or water-absorbing masterbatch) is suitable for companies producing products using recycled PE and PP plastics. Trace moisture in raw materials can severely impact the production of plastic products. Consequently, companies typically use additional drying equipment to dry the plastic, which wastes energy and manpower, increasing product costs. This masterbatch, however, can be simply added to the raw materials without any adjustments to the production process, eliminating issues such as bubbles, moiré, cracks, and spots caused by moisture.
Instructions
Mix this masterbatch directly with the damp plastic raw material and begin product production. For blow molding, the addition ratio is 1%-2%, while for sheet and injection molding, the addition ratio is 2%-5%. The specific addition ratio should be determined by the user based on the moisture content of the plastic.
Packaging
Vacuum packaging, double-layer bagging, or paper-plastic composite bags are available in 1 kg, 2.5 kg, or 5 kg bags. Do not allow the masterbatch packaging to be damaged or stored openly. Protect from direct sunlight and rain.
1. Avoid moisture absorption before use.
2. It is best to use this masterbatch immediately after mixing.
3. Do not heat or dry it together with damp plastics to avoid quality problems during processing.
4. Before opening the package, check that it is intact and heat-seal any unused masterbatch as soon as possible.
